A West Michigan Family Fall Tradition! Always a hit with both children and adults, the PUMPKIN TRAIN sells out quickly so get your tickets early. We encourage the kids (and parents) to wear their Halloween costumes for some extra fun. The Famous Pumpkin and goofy sidekicks will entertain you with their crazy antics as our train travels from Coopersville to Marne and then back. At the end of your ride, children will get a fun gift and candy from The Pumpkin and her sidekicks!

We do not stop and visit a pumpkin patch nor do we have a pumpkin patch.

Train events will vary what cars are included, below are details about each car and class:

Coach Class

Newly renovated vintage railroad passenger cars over 100 years old decorated for fall. Climate controlled, with a restroom.

Premium Class

Table and chair seating, 4 to a table (if under 4 in your party, you may be paired with others) Locally sourced cider (Hill Brother’s Orchard) and a Coopersville’s famous “Delly Belly” pumpkin theme donut. Air Conditioned/Heated, with a restroom.

Cab Ride

Limited to just one lucky rider per train. Ride up in our 70 year old locomotive in a “jump side”. We suggest you visit our station restroom as there are no restrooms up in the cab.

Additional Information

  • There is no pumpkin patch and the train does not stop and let passengers out in Marne.  This is a 1.5 hour continuous ride.
  • Please arrive 30 minutes before train departure for the boarding process. If you have your Car and Seat assignment proceed directly to boarding platform. If do not have that information, please see our station agent at 306 Main Street Coopersville, MI 49404
  • Restrooms available in the station and on board the Coach and Premium Class trains (Not on Caboose).

Oktoberfest Express Train

Don your Bavarian hats and lederhosen & come enjoy an Oktoberfest celebration aboard our vintage train. Enjoy your choice of beer or our other available drinks and light snacks while you roll along to great Oktoberfest music. A truly unique experience available in West Michigan!

Rails, Ales & Wine Trains

Santa Train

All aboard the Santa Train!  Our vintage train has a special seat reserved just for Santa and his elves and all the kids get to meet him and receive a special gift from him. Elves and sometimes even Mrs. Claus may show up to read stories aboard the train! This is one of our most popular rides and you won’t want to miss this opportunity to meet Santa and take pictures!  Trains sell out quickly on this one, so buy your tickets in advance!

Choose Premium Class for Table Seating that includes Hot Cocoa and a Cookie from our local Delly Belly bakery!

Runs weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas
